Holman Christian Standard Bible
5 Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature:[a] sexual immorality, impurity,(A) lust,(B) evil desire, and greed,(C) which is idolatry.(D) 6 Because of these, God’s wrath(E) comes on the disobedient,[b] 7 and you once walked in these things when you were living(F) in them. 8 But now you must also put away(G) all the following: anger,(H) wrath,(I) malice,(J) slander,(K) and filthy language from your mouth.(L) 9 Do not lie(M) to one another, since you have put off(N) the old self[c](O) with its practices 10 and have put on(P) the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your[d] Creator.(Q) 11 In Christ[e] there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian,[f] slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.(R)
